As im just doing minor updates to those olders sites, there is no benefit for me to upgrade and potentiall introduce any issues and no customer of mine is woried about moving to bootstrap 5 (most have no clue what bootstrap even is) they just want their websiite to contine to work as they are now and be occcassionally updated. Personally, I still run all my older production websites in v4.12.4 builder (but i have v5 builders on other computers). Carefully check their websites to see what thay say about v5. But be aware not every 3rd party developer has fully updated them to be 100% v5 compatible. Running some older versions with v5 builder can be problematic.

But if you are just moving existing M4 themed bootstrap projects to stay as M4 projects just in the builder, the should be a lot less prone to issues.
Some 3rd Party extensions and blocks dont work correctly in bootstrap v5 projects. Sharing v4 and v5 blocks can be problematic sometimes between M4 and M5 themes. But newer M5 themed projects no longer have jQuery by default and use bootstrap v5. M4 based bootstrap projects used in the M5 builder continue to have jQuery and use bootstrap v4. Its a totally different licensing setup in v5. Once you go to v5 you are essenially committing to renew every year moving forward or things will stop working. Hi about any technical issues for the moment, just be aware that the license for v4 is a "license for life" even if you dont renew if you stay on v4.
